Alerus Center to host country music superstar Thomas Rhett on Thursday

September 27 – GRAND FORKS – Country music, multi-platinum artist Thomas Rhett takes the stage with his “Bring the Bar to You Tour” concert starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 29 at the Alerus Center.

The concert, featuring opening artists Parker McCollum and Conner Smith, is one of more than 30 concerts produced by Live Nation and presented by Dos Primos.

Rhett, who kicked off the tour with back-to-back sold-out shows in June in Gilford, New Hampshire, presents a live show “known for its explosive and enjoyable energy,” according to Esquire Magazine.

On Thursday’s show here, audience members can expect the five-time Grammy nominee to deliver hit songs as well as favorites from his sixth studio album, “Where We Started.”

“I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back on the road,” Rhett said in a statement after the tour’s opening show. “Our goal for this tour is to spread the joy and have a great time. I can already say this will be the most fun I’ve had on the road, and I can’t wait to see everyone there. !”

With 19 multi-platinum and No. 1 gold-certified hits and 12 billion streams, Rhett has been dubbed “country music’s most trusted No. 1 singles creator” by Variety Magazine.

The superstar has been named a “Prince of the Kind” by USA Today, and has received eight Academy of Country Music Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, two Country Music Association (CMA), five Grammy nominations and nationwide trophies. Music Television (CMT) Music Awards and Billboard Awards.

Her critically acclaimed album, “Where We Started”, is inspired by her family, friends and love of the outdoors.

Rhett, co-founder of Dos Primos Tequila, collaborates with Chaco on an exclusive line of sandals.

Opening for concerts, Parker McCollum has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone, Billboard, SiriusXM, CMT, RIAA and others, as well as MusicRow’s Breakout Artist of the Year 2021 and an Apple Up Next Artist for 2021.

McCollum has sold out over 40 shows in 2021.

Conner Smith signed with BMI at age 9 with original material before collaborating with award-winning songwriters Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell while still in high school. His debut collection is available through The Valory Music Co.

Smith was recently named to prestigious lists such as Spotify’s “Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2022”, “Amazon Music’s 2022 Amazon Artist to Watch” and the all-genre “Artists To Watch 2022: The Pandora Ten List”.
