Citywide Country Music Week returns to Calgary this summer

Don’t bother dusting your boots after this year’s Stampede in Calgary, because Country Music Week is officially back in September and you’re going to want to kick it off with some guts.

As announced by Tourism Calgary, this year’s honky-tonkin celebration will culminate with CCMAs 2022 on the 11th and will feature everything from meet and greets to concerts over 7 action-packed days.

“Hosting Country Music Week and the Canadian Country Music Awards is a great opportunity to showcase Calgary as a music city. Our emerging music scene has grown and flourished over the past 10 years with the construction of new venues, festivals and attractions,” said Ben Graham, Chair of the ACMC Local Organizing Committee. said in a statement.

We’re home to the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, the Music Mile, more than 30 music festivals year-round, and the world’s largest outdoor spectacle, the Calgary Stampede, which annually showcases the best artists from country music.

Unfortunately, for those ready to get dizzy, tickets aren’t on sale yet, but it will only be a matter of time. More information is expected to be revealed this spring, so stay tuned!
