Created by London through the noisethe “nights of noise“ are their “vision of the future of classical music [as] informal crowd-funded events featuring international soloists in cabaret bars, converted warehouses and nightclubs.
After sold-out shows for the first four “noisenights” – which included performances by the cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and pianist Harry Baker — five more were planned.
through the noise is an independent guide to the best live classical music events in London. Each “noisenight” presents two classic short sets: one at the start of the evening and the other at the end of the evening.
All late night set tickets include live music for the rest of the night, including performances in the genres of jazz, latin, afrobeat, swing, and funk. Not only will audiences see some of the best performers in the world, but they will also be part of a community working towards a positive future for live music.
The next “noisenight” on March 9 will feature the singer Heloise Werner and cellist colin alexanderr in a program including their own works and the world premiere of their joint composition.
On March 12, the His outfit will take center stage, highlighting contemporary works and female composers. The group is the UK’s first all-female, non-binary orchestra.
In May, “noisenights” will see the saxophonist Jess Gillam MBE perform music from his chart-topping album “TIME”. This music is inspired by minimalism and the program will also feature pioneering minimalist composers and new commissions.
Cellist Abel Selaocoe will perform in June 2022 as part of the Chesaba trio specializing in African music. Selaocoe will play cello and voice; Sidiki Dembele on djembe, kora, n’goni and African percussion; and Alan Keary on electric bass.

Jack Bazalgette. “noisenights reached an entirely new audience by tapping into pre-existing communities of music lovers who would never consider going to a concert hall but would gladly line up for their local club, and this new series of shows features some of our favorite artists from across the UK, all of whom break the mold of what it means to be a ‘classic’ artist today.
“We’ve been thrilled with the incredible response to our parties so far, and so we’ve moved these new shows to venues that average more than double what we’ve tried so far,” a- he added. “We can’t wait to experience all the incredible musical creation and meet all the new classical music lovers!”
