It will open in theaters in October if anyone is interested. It premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and also played Telluride & TIFF this fall. Decades after Tanya Tucker escaped the spotlight, music star Brandi Carlile takes it upon herself to write an entire album for her hero based on Tanya’s extraordinary life, sparking the biggest comeback in country music history.
