Country music star Jason Aldean announced as musical guest

Houston, Texas, Jan. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Triller Fight Club, constantly evolving in the sports and music industry, today announced the addition of Country Music Superstar Jason Aldean as musical guest extraordinaire for their highly anticipated Fighting Triad II event scheduled for Saturday February 26, 2022 by the famous Toyota Center in downtown Houston, TX and live on FITE and TrillerFightClub.com. Aldean will perform a full concert at Triad Combat II, including his new hit single, “Trouble with a Heartbreak.”

Advance tickets starting at $50 go on sale this Wednesday, January 19 at noon local time on TrillerFightClub.com and ToyotaCenter.com. Home of the two-time NBA world champion Houston Rockets, the Toyota Center is located in downtown Houston at 1510 Polk Street.

Aldean was a three-time Country Music Academy “Artist of the Year” and continues to be a card-holding member of the nation’s elite touring headliners. After 26 number one songs, the multi-platinum artist will release his tenth studio album, Macon, Georgia on April 22 with his fans expected to pack the Toyota Center at Fighting Triad II.

Fighting Triad is a revolutionary new combat team sport that incorporates the rules of boxing and MMA in an aggressive and fast-paced way, with fighters battling it out in a specially designed triangular ring over two-minute rounds featuring professional boxers facing off against professional mixed martial arts fighters. The specific currency of level the playing field between the two sports using crossed gloves and with legal attire is intended to provide boxing and MMA fighters with an equal battlefield where neither opponent has a greater advantage.

Fighting Triad II is headlined by the previously announced epic nine-round heavyweight clash between Fighting Triad I Victor Kubrat ‘The Cobra’ Pulev from Sofia, Bulgaria and former UFC heavyweight world champion Junior dos Santos from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

Additionally, previously announced for Fighting Triad II is a seven-round heavyweight bout between former world light heavyweight boxing champion “Bad” Chad Dawson of New Haven, CT and former UFC light heavyweight world champion Vitor ‘The Phenomenon’ Belfort from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Six additional action-packed battles will also be featured.

The event will be hosted by entertainment icon, Nick Cannon, which hosted the first-ever Triad Combat event on November 27, 2021, featuring the legendary hard rock band Metallic, as he reprises his role for Fighting Triad II, as well as legendary trainers; Double world heavyweight boxing champion Shannon ‘Let’s GO Champion’, Briggs (Boxing) and former UFC Light Heavyweight World Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (MMA).
