Country Music Star Mike Denver Has His Fingers Crossed To Return On Tour Next Year

Mike Denver has said he looks forward to getting back to work and getting back on the road in 2022, everything will be okay.

The country music star has been hoping for some “normalcy” after concerts and tours have been canceled or rescheduled for nearly two years now.

He told RSVP Live: “I’ve been looking forward to 2021 so hopefully 2022 will be better. Fingers crossed that there are no more restrictions and we’ll get back to work and some kind of normalcy.

“The tour is organized and I hope we don’t have to move it or cancel. Everything is going well, we are back on tour from mid-January, but it’s hard to see. have a couple gigs in january and we’ll start full with gigs starting in february, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that we do. I’m looking forward to that. “

Mike isn’t the type to solve New Year’s problems, but he is hopeful things will go well from next year.

“I don’t think there are too many people in this country, or in this world, making too many resolutions for 2022,” he said. “They’ve given up too much.

“I don’t have any plans for any. The bigger plan at this point is for things to get back to normal.”

Mike also recently opened up about his love for Christmas and his plans for the special day with his wife Liz and daughter Mia.

The Galway native told RSVP Live: “I think Christmas is great, I think it’s a great time for the family and it’s even more special now with Mia. Over the years, it will only be. to improve.

“It’s a great time for family and friends who you don’t see all the time. Everyone is in great shape this Christmas.

“On Christmas Eve we go up to Liz’s place and meet her family. Then on Christmas Day we are here at home and my family is nearby, so we call Christmas morning and say hello.

“We do a few little bits, we do Christmas swimming, we go to mass on Christmas morning if we can too.

“We give a few presents and a few pieces to the households and after that we ourselves would be here having a little dinner. Very traditional stuff. “
