auditory space is a contemporary performance ensemble founded in 2016 and made up in part of alumni of UNC’s music department. They create invigorating, multi-sensory musical performances worth believing while investing in North Carolina spaces. Their projects explore the extremes of modern performance and strive to bring audiences closer to the music they experience. earspace has performed throughout the Triangle at CAM Raleigh, Fruit, Burning Coal Theater and less typical venues like Google Fiber Space. They have collaborated with Carolina Performing Arts, Asheville Ballet, UNC Chapel Hill and others, providing regular US and North Carolina premieres of 21st century masterpieces and world premieres of new commissions for 6 years of programming.
