Last weekend, the CMA Fest returned to Nashville for the first time since 2019 to celebrate all things country music. Country’s biggest stars and up-and-coming artists gathered at Spotify House to play and hang out in an intimate setting with their fans. Spotify House was set in Blake Shelton and Opry Entertainment Group’s incomparable Ole Red. With four days of performances on two stages, there was something for everyone in the crowd.
Spotify partnered with Meta throughout the event to bring an exclusive Instagram Reels experience to Spotify House, capturing content with the director The Tommy B for artists instagram and Facebook. Digital Seat Media’s QR codes added to the fan experience, allowing attendees to receive real-time updates on events.
Also on the pitch was our team behind Spotify: mic check, who had the opportunity to speak to several returning CMA Fest artists and newcomers. The episode featured an R&B-inspired artist Tiera Kennedywhose songFound in you” recently reached 20 million streams after being featured on Spotify Hot Country playlist.
“I remember when I first moved to Nashville, I wanted so badly to be on all those playlists. Seeing my music on all those playlists is really cool and it’s really special.
Megane Patrick, who performed at CMA Fest again this year, was also thrilled to be back on stage. “I’ve always viewed CMA Fest as a milestone and a huge opportunity to be a part of. Every year I feel like I have more opportunities to perform and show my music and perform on different stages. Every year is always super exciting and a great opportunity to get a lot of exposure to a lot of fans in a short time.
