HOPE, Ark. – Hempstead Hall, the performing arts and conference center on the Hope Campus of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, has been nominated for the Arkansas Country Music Awards Venue of the Year.
Voting takes place March 1-14 online at arkansasmusic.org/vote.
The annual Arkansas Country Music Awards red carpet event held June 6 at Reynolds Performance Hall in Conway, Arkansas focuses on the rich music scene and history of the Natural State by honoring legends, independent artists and professionals. Hempstead Hall, the modern 65,000 square foot building, opened in January 2013 and has since hosted country artists such as Travis Tritt, Clint Black, the Charlie Daniels Band, Sarah Evans, Lorrie Morgan, John Anderson and Gene Watson .
