Iowa country music fans! Vince Gill is coming to the Adler Theater in Davenport!


One of the most popular and recorded singers of the last thirty years, superstar Vince Gill, announced today that it will resume touring this summer with a stop in Davenport at the Adler Theater on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $47.50, $63.50, $73.50 and $93.50 and are on sale now at Adler’s box office and online at

This is Gill’s first time touring with his band since 2019. Featured on the tour will be vocalist Wendy Motenwho recently rose to fame for his stunning performances on NBC The voice in 2021.

Gill, who toured with the Eagles since 2017, is delighted to return to the front of the stage. “When all the touring stopped in March 2020, it was a good time for me to take a break from the road. Now the Eagles are on tour again, and that’s great! But I can’t wait too to get back on the bus and visit places and fans that I haven’t seen in a while.

At the concert each evening, singer Wendy Moten who toured with Gill as a band singer for several years. Gill, who produced Moten’s last album I’m covered had this to say: “I’ve always loved sharing a stage with Wendy, whether she’s singing harmonies for me, or when we were in The Riders of Time whole. I’ve always wished more people could hear it, so being able to perform it every night of this tour is something I look forward to.

In addition to Moten, also joining Gill on stage will be Paul Franklin (steel), Billy Thomas (drums), jimmy sloas (bass), and John Jarvis (keyboards).

One of modern country music’s most popular artists, Vince Gill is famous for his top-notch songwriting, world-class guitar playing, and warm, soaring tenor, all wrapped up in a fast and easy spirit. Gill had his big breakthrough in 1990 with “When I Call Your Name”, which won both the Country Music Association (CMA) Single and Song of the Year awards as well as a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance, Male. Since then, Gill has won 17 other CMA Awards, 22 Grammy Awards and eight Academy of Country Music Awards. In 1991 Gill was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and in 2007 was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. In 2012, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wendy Moten is an exceptional and adaptable singer, a pure musical spirit and a bridge from Memphis to Nashville to the rest of the world. Respected in the music industry as an accomplished professional for years, the general public discovered her talent and charm through her remarkable run on NBC. The voice in 2021. She spun all four judges’ chairs in her blind audition and ended up in second place overall – unprecedented for an artist in her 50s. Originally from Memphis, Moten sang R&B on a major label in the ’90s, then moved to Nashville to become an in-demand harmony singer. She spent 15 years as a key supporting voice for Julio Iglesias. And she toured with Martina McBride, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill and Vince Gill. She has performed several times as a soloist at the Grand Ole Opry and was a featured artist in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Musician Spotlight series.
