Maren Morris has launched a new shirt with Lunatic Country Music Person printed on the front amid the feud with Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany Aldean.
The country music singer, 32, created the shirt in reference to a comment made by Fox News host Tucker Carlson when he said she was ‘crazy’ and a ‘fake music singer country”.
Brittany, 34, shared an Instagram post in August of herself putting on makeup with the caption: “I would really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my boy phase lack”. I love this girl life.
The post sparked intense reactions online, with many – including Maren – accusing Brittany of being “transphobic”.

The Chasing After You singer responded to the Fox News host’s comment calling her crazy by designing a t-shirt to raise funds for trans youth. At the top of her post, she typed “ATTN Lunatics.”
She added a screenshot in an additional photo that showed off being called crazy on Tucker’s show.
After the feud, Brittany also released her Barbie-inspired clothing line and wrote, “As usual my words have been taken out of context over the past week.”
“Instead of being scolded about twisting my words, I chose to get some good out of it,” she added.
Brittany then said a portion of the proceeds would be donated to Operation Light Shine to help fight human trafficking and child exploitation.

After Brittany captioned her short makeup clip, Maren was just one of many to slam the vlogger.
The country music star jumped to his Twitter in response, typing, “Is it so easy, like, not to be a human bastard?” Sell your clips and compress them, Barbie Uprising,’ she added, referring to the January 6 riot at the US Capitol in 2021.
Morris’ husband, Ryan Hurd, also tweeted that “Scoring quick points by going after trans kids isn’t brave at all.”
Another country star, Cassadee Pope, also joined in and replied, “You’d think celebrities with cutie marks would see the benefits of including LGBTQ+ people in their posts.” But instead, we hear someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Really nice.’
She also took to Instagram sharing a photo of herself and stating ‘POV: Knowing you’re under the skin of someone you don’t like in the first place.’

Response: Maren hopped on Twitter to respond to the social media star’s caption, calling it ‘Barbie Insurrection’
Brittany jumped on her social media to defend herself and shared her own thoughts in which she compared “gender-affirming care” to “genital mutilation” in a slide.
“Some parents want so much to be accepted by society that they are willing to make life-changing decisions for their children who are not old enough to fully understand the consequences of their actions.”
Another slide asked whether children under 18 should be able to choose to take puberty blockers or have sex reassignment surgery.

Negative response: Country singer Cassadee Pope also chimed in to slam Jason Aldean’s wife legend
Puberty blockers have often been described as “reversible”, but scientists say there is insufficient research on their side effects.
They have been found to cause symptoms including brain swelling and loss of bone density in some patients, and can also cause irreversible symptoms including infertility and loss of the ability to reach orgasm.
Maren responded to some of the remarks with her own video in Instagram Stories, explaining, “You were so kind and supportive today to me and Cassadee.” I’ll say, like, we can handle this shit, we’ve been dealing with idiots for years, you know, saying incredibly stupid things to each other, but like, I’d say check your trans friends, check your gay friends, all those who love, are into country music and must have watched those bulls**t today and felt subhuman.
During an interview with Tucker Carlson, Brittany discussed her post, expressing, “I never thought there was anything wrong with that.”
“We have ages on everything. We have it for cigarettes, we have it for driving, we have it for the military, for voting. But for some reason people think we can let a child choose their gender so young, it’s confusing.
She added: “When you are older and you choose to make these decisions, then by all means. But the children are too young, not mature enough to make these decisions. And they are life changing.
