Osborne Brothers is about to release the deluxe edition of their 2020 album, Skeletons, next month.
After their nomination for Best Country Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards, the duo reissued the project with three new tracks: “Headstone”, “Midnight Rider’s Prayer” and “younger me, “alongside the 12 original songs.
“Younger Me” was co-written by Jeans and TJ Osborne and Kendell marvel and released in April 2021, two months after TJ revealed himself publicly as gay. He is nominated for Best Country Performance in a Duo / Group at the Grammys.
“I always wished I could talk to my young self, hug him and show him who he had become and what he would achieve. Once I got out, that feeling was so strong that this song was born and the time to share is now “, TJ wrote of “Younger Me” at the time of its release.
In addition, samples of “Midnight Rider’s Prayer” Willie nelsonThe signature hit of “On the Road Again”. The duo got Willie’s blessing to use elements of the song.
Skeletons The Deluxe Edition releases on January 21, just ten days before the Grammy Awards air on CBS on January 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
