The legendary Lanarkshire music festival Stereofunk will no longer take place at Strathclyde Country Park, organizers have announced.
After 15 years at Motherwell, the live concert will move to the iconic Chatelherault Country Park in April.
Partygoers will be treated to an afternoon of music with none other than 90s cult favorites The Vengaboys headlining the hugely popular festival.

They told Lanarkshire Live “After a two year break we are delighted to be doing what we love and as the country returns to normalcy we are busy behind the scenes planning our biggest event yet.
“And we are delighted to finally publicize our new location – the incredible Chatelherault Country Park – less than five minutes from Strathclyde Park and in the romantic setting of an 18th century hunting lodge.
“It’s the perfect setting for a music festival and a place we could only have dreamed of all those years ago when we held our first event in Strathclyde Park.

“We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of Stereofunk in Strathclyde Park over the years – contractors, council staff, park staff, event staff, suppliers, traders, sound companies, security, police, fire , first aid, the list goes on and on.
“But above all, we would like to thank everyone who has attended over the years and purchased tickets to support the event throughout our journey as we have grown.
“In particular, we would like to thank everyone who has kept their tickets throughout the COVID period.
“All tickets previously purchased for our canceled events throughout the COVID period are still valid for Stereofunk 2022.
“We’ve also added a limited number of extra tickets, but these won’t last forever! Be part of something special… the very first Stereofunk at Chatelherault Country Park!”
