Put on your best boots, bell bottoms and fringed jackets, because a big country music party is coming to South Bank in September. Rock your Acubra for the cream of Australian country harvest, like this year’s stacked range BIGSOUND Country event takes over South Bank Piazza.
During two twilight hours on Saturday September 10, the event, organized in partnership with QMusic, Brisbane Festival and South Shore Parkswill pay homage to the smooth, sly, dark and soft tones of all things country.
The headliner of the evening is the famous three-time platinum artist, Brand Adamalongside the country duo n°1 The Wolfe Brothers and acclaimed alternative rocker, Shane Nicholsonperforming with the backing of the vast country house band BIGSOUND.
Fusing the best of country and roots, the incomparable breakout artist, Loren Ryanwill bring its vibrant tones to the Piazza and complement the stacked range are Sara Storer and James Blundellwho are among the most awarded and respected in the country genre with multiple ARIA and 30 Golden Guitar Awards between them.
