Newcomer to Nashville and rising star Jenna sears is making waves in the country music scene following her recent two-song release, a list of upcoming appearances, and growing popularity on Instagram.
For Sears, who was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin and then moved to St. Louis, Missouri with her family, her love of music began at a young age. But it wasn’t until her late teens and singing in front of a crowd at a karaoke bar that she realized she wanted to do more with her talents than just a part-time hobby. . A week after this moment of transformation, Sears met a producer at a bar who invited her to come to the studio to work on her music.
This collaboration led Sears and its production team to release their first two songs, “Velvet Ditch” and “Brown Eye Lies”. But releasing his first two songs was not easy. As a full-time student at Ole Miss, Sears had to travel back and forth to the studio, a two-hour drive from campus, to bring her music to life. She balanced her writing and recording while maintaining a busy class schedule, but was still able to fulfill her dream of breaking into the Nashville music scene.
Currently, Sears is working with L-3 Entertainment in Nashville on new music. She plans to release two new songs in the coming months and will appear on the Boots and Whiskey podcast in December. His songs have been a hit on major streaming platforms, boasting over 100,000 streams in three months.
Sears is also attracting a growing number of social media fans, already racking up more than 10,000 followers in no time.
“The mantra I live by is ‘A dream won’t chase you, go chase your dreams,’” Sears said. “The road hasn’t always been easy as I worked to fulfill my dream of being Nashville’s next big star, but I worked hard and I always believed in myself. I hope my fans see and hear this in my music and find something they can relate to or strike a chord with them.
