Fans can’t help but congratulate South Korean pop group SEVENTEEN on their new achievement, which has performed exceptionally well on the music charts and has spread its wings around the world. With the release of their eighth mini album, “Your Choice” on June 18, the boy group has sold over 89,000 copies in Japan and topped the Oricon’s daily album charts.

Surprisingly, it only took a day for the group to nearly double their previous opening week record, causing Carats to pass out. However, it smashed the Hanteo Chart daily ranking in Korea, as well as QQ Music’s daily newspaper and several of the best-selling weekly music charts in China.

While the single track, ‘Ready to Love’, rose to the top of online music and AWA in Japan, it also achieved high positions on several prominent local music charts, such as Genie, Melon and Bugs. Carats flooded Twitter with happy news and supported the boy group to celebrate their extraordinary achievement.

According to Korean news agency reports, SEVENTEEN also tops iTunes album charts in 18 countries and tops the iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 22 countries. Formed by Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN or SVT is a popular South Korean boy group made up of 13 fabulous artists. The group was formed in 2015 and recently celebrated their sixth anniversary. The group’s success is not limited only to Korea, but they have developed a large number of fans internationally.

The members are S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino.
