“Prokofiev and MTT”
Los Angeles native and composer Michael Tilson Thomas, former member of the San Francisco Symphony, returns to conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5 and Fauré’s “Pavane”. Also on the program: “Meditations on Rilke”, a cycle of songs by Tilson Thomas based on the writings of the early 20th century Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S. “Disposable line”
