If you didn’t already know, Yellowstone actor Luke Grimes is a serious triple threat. He can obviously act, as seen in his portrayal of the character Kacey Dutton on the hit Paramount Network show. But before taming wild horses and swinging lassos on TV, Luke was a drummer in alternative country band Mitchells Folly and a good country singer to boot! (The third threat: He’s a super cute idol 😂).
Fans might not be caught off guard by Luke’s distinct musical career. The actor Told rolling stone in January that he was planning a full return to music, this time as a solo artist with an album in the works. His life in Montana and the time spent writing songs between filming Yellowstone greatly influenced his style of country music. “That happens to be what my life is right now. I’m driving a diesel truck down a highway with no one on it,” he told Joseph Sudak.
Well, Luke’s hard work has certainly paid off! He *finally* joined Instagram to announce that he will be performing at Stagecoach Music Festival in California.
“See you in the desert,” the Ohio native wrote alongside an image of him sitting with his guitar. He also shared the country music festival’s lineup, which includes two more Yellowstone cast members on the list! You might recognize Ryan Bingham, who plays Walker, and coming soon season 5 actor Lainey Wilson. Other great titles Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Chris Stapleton. The three-day event runs from April 28 to April 30, 2023.
Luke’s fans and friends Yellowstone the cast showered his post in support. Most notably, costar Kelly Reilly, who plays her sister Beth Dutton, has kindly contributed a series of heart emojis. (It should be noted that it is not the only musical talent of the show either: Kevin Costner founded his own band, Modern West.)
Another commenter replied, “KASEY SINGS?!” And yes, it does indeed. So ring in the comments: Are you going to see him in concert? 🤠
